Jul. 11th, 2003 12:58 amI am incredibly proud of myself. I took a package of raw chicken and made it into something not only edible, but quite palatable. I was going to follow the recipe that
splagxna suggested, but when I opened the package it turned out that they were "thinly sliced, boneless, skinnless chicken breast cutlets". Yes, they actually fit that on the package. So instead, I did what I like to call Kamikaze Cooking. I made a stir-fry of sorts. It turned out REALLY good, except perhaps a bit on the salty side. I'd definitely try it again, only this time leave out the bullion cubes and use less olives to try to cut down on the salt. I went through about a half-gallon of water. I guess that's healthy. Except for all the chlorine. Tomorrow I get a home-cooked meal from someone else's kitchen, and I have meatballs in the freezer I can do something creative with on Saturday night. Or Sunday for lunch. Whatever.
Wouldn't it be funny if I actually turned out to LIKE cooking?

Date: 2003-07-11 07:15 am (UTC)two is ok, but three or four is best for me. If I have to cook for more than that, I tend to go completely overboard or not have enough food.....Today we should have four, unless someone else shows up randomly (which would be fine) and I'll prolly have about enough food for six.
cause I'm a pig, and I expect everyone else to be too!
