See,
this
is why I had to make sure Obama got into office, instead of McCain.
I'm shaking a little with relief just thinking about the implications of this.
President Obama (I like saying that) has banned torture.

I think the history of civil rights in this country is a good (albeit an infuriating) indication of how long it takes for the fair thing to happen.
I only brought it up because I heard this story on NPR where McCain more or less opposed the Act and so Mrs. Ledbetter then decided to back Obama.
