A friend of mine not long ago applied for the job with the BBC, no less, and got an interview. Then the interview was postponed, and the personnel officer wrote her a letter apologizing for the incontinence. (sic)

Oh dear. Sounds like the victim of spell-check to me.

Number 8 is actually one of my spelling/grammar pet peeves. That and the "piqued" one.

one of my errors is excusable because i did work in a pubic defender's office once. it was a hairy job, and it made me crabby to work there.

the good part about working there was that i never had to shave.

I almost got them all, I could tell that Diffused seemed wrong but I couldn't put my finger on why.
