Got them all, although I wouldn't have got 8) if I hadn't known that there was a mistake!

A friend of mine not long ago applied for the job with the BBC, no less, and got an interview. Then the interview was postponed, and the personnel officer wrote her a letter apologizing for the incontinence. (sic)

Oh dear. Sounds like the victim of spell-check to me.

Number 8 is actually one of my spelling/grammar pet peeves. That and the "piqued" one.
