Date: 2006-01-11 03:29 pm (UTC)I took two semesters of Italian in college from some woolheaded notion of wanting to be able to translate Dante. I wasn't a very good student in that class, and don't remember a lick of it.
But I still want to trek off to Firenze and hand out on the Ponte Vecchio with a bottle of grappa some day.
