I would so love to be able to see the original 1977 Star Wars on a big screen again. Especially after sitting through "Revenge of the Spliff."

Is this the real, original original version, without the "Special Edition" stuff or the Lucas add-ons? Enjoy, and let me know if Han shoots first.

Well, it gets very crowded. First best thing is to use cell phones to rendezvous. If I can get the area I'm thinking of, I'll get something in the center back of the front half (yeah, that made sense...). Basically, go to the center of the screen and walk straight back, I think.

After a few people get there it gets easier to spot people we know. I can't find my big floppy green hat yet, so we may have to rely on Ms.

violachic to find some signal or way of finding one another.

2. I think the screen is at the corner of Columbus and Monroe. Grant Park is directly behind the Art Institute. The movie viewing area takes up most of the space on that block, if I am remembering correctly.

The screen is cattycorner from the old, original Grant Park bandshell, in that block. Well, more or less cattycorner.

My unsure answers are a result of always navigating by certain landmarks and not being completely sure of street names.
