Wow.

I have a walk-through rehearsal tonight (before choir practice!), a dress rehearsal on Friday, and performances on Saturday and Sunday.


It has been a very, very long time since I have been involved in performing of any kind. I have a war going on in my head between the person who is exhausted and overwhelmed by all of it and just wants the next three weekends to sleep, and the performer who would give her eye teeth to do this all the time.

I don't think this war is winnable.

Though I am used to my friends having to endure performances!

I'm involved with a performance of "Godspell" through my church. We have our dress rehearsal on Friday night, and we open Saturday night, and do the next three weekends in a row at various locations. We're doing it as a fundraiser for a local organization that does homeless aid in the city. I am used to performing, but usually either in an instrumental setting, or a choral one, so I am excited that this is the first show I've ever done where I'm not in the pit!
