Today I realized exactly how much I have invaded my new church.

This morning I:

- sang in choir
- preached (and rocked!)
- received the music for the production of "Godspell" we are doing for Lent/Easter
- was handed the finance sheet to look at before my first council meeting on Tuesday


Huh.

Luckily, the director is nixing the whole clown thing- I think Kate will be doing our costumes, which would ROCK. I'm excited about it- I've always been in the pit for shows, I've never sung/acted in one before!

Godspell is one of my favorite hippie musicals. I had to search high and low to find a xvid avi copy but am glad to say that it has a permanent residence on my hard drive.

Thank you :-) I do have bittorrent on my computer, but I have been having problems figuring out the throttle for it, so it doesn't screw up our entire wireless network- right now, when I'm downloading something nobody in our house can get on the internet, including me. I don't know enough about it to even really experiment.

Utorrent is pretty easy w/ setting upload and download limits. I keep mine unlimited. It does bog things down but I don't use the net for much more then lj and downloading anyway. If I need to do banking or whatever then I will pause everything until I am done but for the most part utorrent runs 24/7.
