They're not especially cheap, but the Dell business (as opposed to home) computers can still come with XP. For laptops that would be the Dell Latitude lines.
Not the cheapest, but they're pretty sturdy laptops, I use them day in and day out.
As seen elsewhere here, the answer is "yes" for the moment. In about a month, the answer will be "no", unless you want one of the ultra-low-cost thingies that are being introduced. Microsoft has graciously recognised that Vista has fairly high hardware requirements, while XP can run on things that, by modern standards, are barely computers. [Of course, when XP came out, the same was true of XP compared to 95...]. So people wanting to sell low-end, dirt-cheap machines will be permitted to sell a version of XP with it. Everyone else must sell Vista after 1 July.
i'd heard dell is going to get around that by exercising the "revert back to XP" option for their customers, in order to continue selling XP machines after july 1. or is the revert option going away too?
Actually, I have a new (okay, I got it in April) Dell Vostro with XP and all the McAfee virus protection you could possibly ever want ever, and I was looking to get about $525 for it on Ebay, but I could cut you a deal if it really is what you're looking for. Let me know if you'd like the specs...
