Between feeling like crap* and the drugs I'm on, I managed to miss not one, but two earthquakes this morning.


Dude.


*I returned to the doctor today, because my ear isn't any better- in fact, I've been feeling worse and worse all week.

Now, my diagosis on Monday night was an outer and middle infection in the left ear. I was given a prescription for antibiotic eardrops.

Today's diagnosis:

- Outer, middle, and inner infections in the left ear
- Outer and middle infections in the right ear
- Sinus infection


I'm on Augmentin. For two weeks. With a referral to an ENT if I'm not feeling significantly better in two or three days.

Go me! My new Sekrit Superhero Identity is Murphy's Law Girl. And I apparently have a cape.

It seems like more people in the Chicago area didn't feel it-- I'm guessing it wasn't as noticeable as it was farther south here. Today's two quakes are definitely the first ones I've really felt.

No, there really was an earthquake in Illinois early this morning, with an aftershock at around 10:15. The epicenter was downstate, so its not surprising that not too many people in chicago didn't feel it. Hm. Lots of negatives in that sentence, I hope they all canceled each other out properly.
