There's definitely something wrong completely and totally right about the world when there is a carrot panic-buying group on Facebook, and it has NINETY-EIGHT THOUSAND members.

Apparently, these two women in London, for a total lark, started spreading the word that we should all start panic-buying carrots on a certain date. I just stumbled on this group because one of my friends joined it. I guess they're getting a lot of press, so tons of people have joined the group.

ok...so can you let me know when the panic carrot buying is supposed to start, so I can go out the day before and stock up? because, you know, I eat carrots every day and will freak out if none are available!!!

maybe I should start stockpiling now.
