I stayed up and watched the whole thing last night :-) Not entirely true to the book, but its an excellent film, and really captured the spirit of it. Can't wait to see the new one!

Wow! I loved that book when I was growing up, and in 1975, I was way too busy with off_coloratura and xinamarie to go to movies. But what wonderful memories. Thank you so much for posting them!
