oh ,my god, I saw that movie.

it is INTENSE and AMAZING. I can't recomend it higher. Unfortunately I don't think it's available for distribution yet, but, yeah. It offers a good historical overview and a good sense of what is going on now. i walked out of it kind of devastated but also as always inspired by the incredible resiliance of the Palestinian people.

Yeah, I noticed that there is a button for "buy DVD" but it is still under construction. I'd really love to build a video library about this stuff, movies and documentaries are so much more accessible than books.

very true. Another really good movie is Palestine Blues, I think it's still making the film festival circuit. someone also just told me that there is a video about the wall called, "The Wall."

Every once in awhile there is a Palestinian film festival that comes through Chicago, I'll have to keep an eye out for them in the future.

there's not a palettine film fest I'm aware of here, but the annual arab film festival is pretty kick ass. that's where I saw Occupation 101; the filmmakers were there for Q &A, they're awesome. Oh, I wish the film would become available! the sitiuation on the ground in plaestine changes so quickly that I ama fraid the film will be dated when it's available if they don't speed it up, y'know?
