Ah, I noticed tonight that my babies are starting to grow up. Every week they come in taller and taller, and they're losing their baby fat all over the place. It makes their faces look so serious, without all that roundness! All of a sudden today I noticed that Johanna* needs to pull the music stand up when she plays, instead of keeping it at the lowest level. Amanda doesn't even SOUND like a little kid anymore, she sounds like the preteen I can't believe she is. Noah is actually starting to practice regularly, and is playing really well. Jovan is going to get too big for his violin soon, and has to adjust his finger position to compensate.

Oh, the circle of life.... the babies become young people then they grow up into big, cynical adults... if I'm lucky a few of them will remember their violin teacher fondly in twenty years...
