So in addition to making sure I have a roof over my head and things to eat, boosting my basic morale, and being all-around incredibly amusing people, my housemates are also trying help me shape my immediate future.


Most of the suggestions so far, however, include illicit drugs, heavy drinking, and getting hooked on gambling.


Its still a work in progress.


On top of that, I just read the article that catdraco posted about some rough statistics in the US pertaining to tattooing and piercings. At the end of the article it states

"A social breakdown of people who favour tattooing includes 58 per cent who said they have been in prison, 37 per cent drank too much and 38 per cent admitted to doing drugs."

This article very blatantly tells me that as a tattooed and pierced person- although I will shamefacedly admit that I, also, thought that my ankle was the most appropriate place for a tattoo, which I now think is kinda wimpy, even though in the summer I make a point to wear ankle socks so I can show it off- I am clearly not living up to my potential. My housemates may be onto something.

me too, and OH YES!!! I love living with people who are off the beaten track, even if they do get me hooked on online gambling.

Oh, Benjamin suggested it to me, but I'm not sure how serious he was. But it was rejected since 1) I don't really know how to play poker, and 2) you need some capital, which I don't have.

Eh, I think I'd probably have fun with it for a little while, but I'm not enthusiastic enough about it to really give it a go :-)
