Dear LJ,

When my little drug-addled brain is in the habit of looking on the menu and seeing "user info", and all of a sudden that gets changed to "profile", chaos is likely to ensue. If even only in my own head. Please don't make any major changes until my brain is capable of keeping up with them.

I switched over to Horizon a few days ago and I'm still trying to get used to it. I don't like the drop down menu and having all the LJ promo stuff at the bottom of every comment I post to a friends lj. I have a paid account and don't want it.

I've already filed a support request complaining about this bottom of the page LJ spam.

They only had one skin when I joined LJ, and I kept it when they added the second one. I haven't even tried the newest one, but it still looks way more complicated than the original. I like the Dystopia (I think that's what its called- orange, purple and blue, with the menu down the left side instead of across the top) best for a lot of reasons. I haven't noticed LJ spam on comments, but there's a lot of things I don't notice, so that's not saying much :-)

I've used Xcolibur since coming to LJ last October. Everything is horizontal and there was nothing across the bottom of the page. Now LJ says they won't be updating Xcolibur so that's why I went to Horizon. I think the idea is to force as many people as possible into Horizon.

I am not a computer geek and don't have a clue what a skin is. All I know is when I'm reading my friends page, if I write a comment and go to post, there is a mess of LJ spam horizontal across the bottom of the page.

Here it is and I haven't even posted my comment: Look at all this stuff.

That's really weird, I've never seen that before. Is that what its supposed to do if you have that new "plus" account? I definitely would be annoyed if I got that on my paid account!

I only have a paid account. That's why I'm so angry with having this stuff at the bottom of every comment I post to every lj friend in their journal.

LJ has gone hog wild with their spam and that's why I filed an support/abuse request. I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck with this mess.
