I'm done apologizing for how whiny I sound on my LJ these days.

From time to time I peruse my friendsfriends (that's like the people that Quakers invite to barbecues) page for amusement, and to see if there's anything that would interest me. I have made more than a handful of my own friends doing this in the past.

Today, however, I saw the most emo post made by someone with the most emo LJ user name I have ever seen. I almost wondered if it had been faked. Sadly, I believe I'm wrong.

Since that person is, obviously, a friend of someone on my friends list, I will say nothing revealing about who it was or what was said in the post. I didn't even check to see which friend(s) we might have in common.

But suffice to say, severe emotional trauma followed by months of chronic pain are legitimate things to whine about, so I'm not going to apologize for sounding "emo", because it is not "emo".

I have seen emo, and it is not I.

Besides, its your LJ, I think you are entitled to write whatever the fuck you want to, and if people are sick of topics a-f, then they can go elsewhere for reading material.

Hell, considering all thats been going on I would expect alot more anger at the situation/health/etc kind of posts, but you've been pretty even in whats going on, how you feel, etc...

I salute you for all you've been through and all surviving all thats been going on without going totally around the twist.

Nah, not really. Before all I did on LJ was bitch about being sick, it was mostly political. Actually, it was about 90% political, one way or the other...

i didnt know people were complaining about your journal being whinny... fuck its your journal,... if you wanna whine go for it,... but i dont consider keeping your friends informed on your health situation, and how you feel, whinning. it keeps all of us from calling you 10 times a day everyday.

Actually, except for two people (who I didn't know outside of LJ anyway) who unfriended me because I stopped making political posts, nobody has actually complained about it. I just feel guilty that all I do is whine :-) Or that I feel all I do is whine, even if that's not true. But no more. I've seen what whining looks like, and what I do has nothing on it :-D
