So I was poking around at IMDB trying to get an idea of what Lady In The Water is all about. I followed some links, and all of a sudden ended up

here.

I'm not sure if I'm completely horrified, or if I'm looking forward to this with bated breath.

I can honestly say that I am looking forward to it... I loved Bubba Ho Tep and really only expect the best from Bruce Campbell. It should be a fun movie... =)

I'm not a horror fan for the most part, but all this Bruce Campbell talk has me wanting to watch one of his movies... I think I shall watch "Evil Dead" this morning... That should screw up my sleep this afternoon....

I have never seen Alien Apolcolypse. I shall have to see if I can find it to download....

On another note... reading the comments in the IMDB forum on this movie it seems pretty split on if this is actually being made. It is said that Bruce himself is saying that it is not true.. =/ Time will tell....

Brucie also said there was no Evil Dead IV - but then came out with this (http://www.bruce-campbell.com/projects/evil-dead-remake.htm) (ok, so a remake instead of a sequel, but still...).

He's such a BQueen! I love him! Watch Army of Darkness today! It's my favorite!

I actually just went to one of my folders to find my Evil Dead movies and opened it up right where all 3 were. It's a sign I tell ya. I think I shall heed your advice and watch part 3 today. Maybe another if I'm still not sleepy...

Yes, it is being made!!!!

It looks like it's been on and off track ever since the closing credits from Bubba Ho-Tep suggested it as a joke.

Weird; this is the second time I've heard about this in the last 3 days, and never had before them. Guess that's what buzz is all about.

I think it might be cool.

Well, there's all this dodgy language there about "pre-production" and "dates will vary" that make me skeptical we'll see this anytime very soon. But I'm still hoping it does eventually make it to the theaters.

If this is the prequel, what will they come up with for the sequel?

Well, since at the end of Bubba Ho-Tep The King and JFK are dead, there doesn't seem to be much room for a sequel.

Unless they resurrect B H-T himself and have someone else have a go...Buddy Holley maybe?

Well, if Elvis and JFK are in that home, does make me wonder who else is....

Woo hoo! If it's Joe R. Lansdale and Bruce Campbell, it'll probably be great.

Well, great for people who like that sort of thing.

(Good morning! I'm suffering cool withdrawal, today--it finally got below 75'F, and I can almost think again.)

I'm quite skeptical, myself. Apparently it isn't a joke, and will be a prequel.

As I recall (and I haven't seen the movie in a while) the coolest thing about Ho-Tep was that they never really gave the game away--it really _could_ have been a black JFK and an old Elvis... but it might just as well have been a couple of extremely crazy folk. It seems like that is no longer a mystery in the new movie.

And somehow "Bubba Sasquatch" seems like a very bad idea. Then again, "Bubba Ho-Tep" was much, much better than it had any right to be, even with Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis...

Bated breath, I think. Bruce Campbell is funny.

LITW is about a woman who lives in this guy's pool. Whenever she gets out of the water a big dog chases her arround. It is a little more complicated than that, because it turns out the woman is actually a water nymph, but that is about it.
