Jan. 10th, 2006 11:23 amCPT experienced a momentary PTSD flashback this morning with the report of a Christian Science Monitor reporter being kidnapped in Iraq.
Circumstances are eerily the same as ours, as well as the woman who was taken a few days after our people (who was eventually released, although the contractor taken around the same time was reportedly killed).
We can't help but think of what her co-workers, friends and family are going through right now. Must be similar to our first week. Or four.
Bleh.
We intend to send a note of support and solidarity.
In the meantime, we wait. Still no word.
Wish I had an appropriate icon for things like this.
