I'm not even going to attempt to recreate yesterday on LJ. Instead, I'm going to point you to my sister's highly accurate post and leave it at that.

Tonight, I'm hoping to attend the premiere of the movie my housemates helped make last summer, entitled Say Hello to Clive For Me. Lets see what the Pain Gods have to say about that.

Later, kids.

What a day! I am glad hope is in sight and you have found some people who are willing to help.

Amy,
I hope that you feel better soon!
I am still thinking about you, and am so sorry I haven't been able to visit or help out in any way:(

you look interesting. Be my friend? Found you searching my interests for Christian Peacemaker Teams.

welcome!

are you already affiliated with CPT, or a supporter?

I get the email news updates, met some people from the organization at Cornerstone Festival a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I can't remember their names. But mostly I just read up on what's going on and pray. And occasionally I post bits of news in my LJ. So I'm a supporter in a sense, though not in any official capacity. I <3 the mission, though.

I would be interested in becoming part of a team at some point, but I have nearly $40k in student loans to pay off... and all I've been able to get have been part-time, service-sector jobs since graduating nearly 2 years ago. So I haven't exactly started paying them off yet. *sigh*

I think I annoyed some of my friends with my constant requests for prayer during the Iraq hostage situation. But they prayed.

Anywho, nice to meet you. Hope your stuff gets better... doesn't exactly sound fun.

If the Pain Gods allow it, stop by The Tonic Room tonight after the film -- I don't think we're going on until 10:30, 11:00.
