Even though its been a year since I hennaed my hair, it is still very, very red. Well, dark strawberry blonde. At any rate, redder than it should be. I'm wondering if this is just going to be the way it is from now on. Not a complaint. It will save me money on hair dye. But I do miss my blonde.

The suburbs make me nervous. I can't get over that. Don't know why.

Dear 94.7,

You're an oldies station.

Don't try to be hip.

Sincerely,

I may just have to accept that my immune system is broken.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I went through a phase where I cursed my weird life and yearned for a "normal" one.
I think that's out of my system now.
I think that Lori, Libby, Rae, and I could be a formidable force if ever unleashed onto the world all together.
How many people do you need for a coven?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There were four women and two corsets in the room last night. Hilarity ensued.

Red molecules are big, really big, compared to other colors, and once they are in the hair shaft, they don't go away. That really simplistics, I suspect, but it's what a colorist told me when I asked why a rinse-out color didn't. The red color will stay in your hair until it grows out. Or you overdye it with something darker. Or bleach the ^&*$#%!!! out of it.

Hey, that's good to know, thanks. And with all my hair, it might be some time till it grows out :-) I'm thinking that bleaching it would be entirely too unkind. Being in the sun in a very hot, dry environment for a couple months definitely changed the color tones, but the red is also definitely still there.
