Feb. 14th, 2006 11:33 amLast night, to give out to my co-workers for Valentine's Day, I made Puppy Chow. I then put it in plastic baggies that I tied with a red curling ribbon.
My recipe for Puppy Chow:
Melt one 12-oz package of chocolate chips
Mix in 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
Mix in with approxomatly 12 cups of Crispex cereal
Mix above with powdered sugar. You may find it easier (which I did) to dump the mixture and the powdered sugar into a bag and shake it all up.
Yum!

Date: 2006-02-15 09:12 pm (UTC)you wrote about it, and that made me think about it, and so I can *almost* taste it, which is better than giving me some anyway, cause it's totally full of bad calories like fat and carbs.
yeah.
so THANK YOU!

Date: 2006-02-26 06:06 pm (UTC)I made puppy chow once and ran out of powdered sugar, so I used unsweetened cocoa. It's just bitter enough to cut the super-sweet of the chocolate and peanut butter without being overwhelming and it's amazingly tasty, if you like that sort of flavor combination.
