In today's Sad and Pathetic News, I pulled a muscle in my foot this morning... wait for it... putting on my shoes.

I'm wearing my new favorite skirt, the velvet one I got in Jerusalem that is like wearing your very own fuzzy blanket. It makes me happy, even if it makes me trip going up stairs from time to time.

Tonight we're having a bit of a party with the training group. One of the women in the group plays violin, but doesn't have it with her, so today I toted both of The Kids down with me, with their pockets stuffed full of music, and tonight we are going to jam. Probably out of the Brethren/Mennonite hymnal, but whatever.

Maia and Cal's going away party is tomorrow night. That makes me sad. So very sad.

My thoughts about the Palestinian election can be summed up by one word: doom. And not quite in the happy bouncy GIR-sings-the-doom-song-now way.
