violachicYesterday in the rain/snow/sleet/snain, my usual everyday jacket got really wet. When I went to put it on this morning, it was still damp, and seeing as I really didn't want to turn into a walking refrigerator on the way to work, I donned my other coat.
On the el platform waiting for a train, a woman near me, who was dressed entirely inappropriately for the weather, looked at me head to toe enviously and said "oooh, you look warm!"
I didn't have a good response, so I just smiled.
