1) Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. happier or sadder? ups and downs, but overall distinctly more content

ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner. I went on the Tuwani diet.

iii. richer or poorer? HA!

2) What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? Traveled to and spent two months in a foreign country.

3) Did you keep last year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't believe in making New Year's Resolutions.

4) Did anyone close to you give birth? Two of my co-workers (who are married to each other) made a baby.

5) Did anyone close to you die? Ask me again in a few weeks.....

6) What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? more time and cash to see people socially.

7) What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? 27th of November, the day the CPTers in Iraq went missing.

8) What was your biggest achievement of the year? My two months overseas, and all its implications.

9) What was your biggest failure? Not budgeting my money (little as it is) better.

10) Did you suffer illness or injury? Whooping Cough, late spring/early summer.

11) What was the best thing you bought? gifts for various people in Jerusalem.

12) Whose behavior merited celebration? My sister, both for her work after the hurricaines in Houston, and her support for me while I was in Palestine.

13) Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? George W. Bush

14) Where did most of your money go? HA!

15) What did you get really, really, really excited about? Going to Palestine.

16) What song will always remind you of 2005? I Believe In A Thing Called Love (for no reason in particular, actually- just random).

17) How many different states did you travel to this year? I have no idea. At least four or five, I imagine.

18) What was your favorite film of this year? Serenity

19) What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 29, and went to WI and then dinner with [livejournal.com profile] polyfrog.

20) What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Not letting other people's bullshit get to me.

21) How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? uh... fashion concept...?

22) Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Bono. Duh.

23) What political issue stirred you the most? Yes

24) Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I don't believe in hate. There's people I have no use for, but I don't hate them.

25) Who did you miss? lets not go there....

26) Who was the best new person you met? Riad

27) Did you fall in love in 2005? Oh yes, but its not what you're thinking :-)

28) Did you make any new friends? Many.

29) What was your favorite month of 2005? October and November (I know its two months, but I can't separate them).

30) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year? I guess.

31) What was your proudest moment? Watching my name go out in print on CPT updates from Tuwani.

32) What was your most embarrassing moment? Hard to choose....

33) If you could go back in time to any moment of '05 and change something, what would it be? I would have dropped the people without fighting with them about it... I should have known I didn't need that in my life earlier.

34) How many people that you know have either been engaged or married this year? I assume by "people" you mean "couples"? At least four.

35) Were you a bridesmaid or groomsman? Yes, for my sistah.

36) Did you have any vices in '05? duh

37) Was 2005 a good year for you? Absolutely!

38) What are your plans for 2006? I'll continue as I have started.

39) Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005: Don't start conversations with Christian Zionists.
