Aug. 24th, 2005 09:42 amI've never particularly enjoyed flying. I'll do it, but I don't really like it. I'd rather take a train.
I've been getting used to it, though, partly because I've flown more, and partly because I know I have to.
But now, after reading this, this, and this, I'm getting real dang nervous about my upcoming trans-Atlantic, and then trans-Mediterranean flights.
But you can't take a train to Tel Aviv.

Date: 2005-08-24 08:02 am (UTC)Maybe not entirely but you can come close. You can take ground travel to Alaska and then take a boat across the Bearing Strait. From there take the Trans-Siberian Railroad into E. Europe. From there you should be able to get to the Middle East. :)
Trip time however would probably be several months. :)
