I don't know what rollick* and cassielsander* have planned, but I'm starting a movement to go see Star Wars at the Grant Park Outdoor Film Festival next Tuesday night.

It is supposed to start at 8:09 (dusk, for the uninitiated), and I'm assuming its going to be super croweded, so I'm thinking of planting my ass on the grass round about 5:30.

So far I have one and a half takers.


If you're interested, comment here, email me, or give me a call (yes, I know I'm the hardest person in Chicago to track down). At some point, especially if there is going to be a crowd, I'll come up with some sort of nifty way to spot us, something in the vein of rollick's balloons and pheret's neon green floppy hat.

Whaddya say?

Alas, I say that last I checked, Cass was planning on running his long-awaited one-shot RPG that night, so unless all his plans fly asunder, I doubt we'll be there. Though I wouldn't have counted on us in any case — I'm imagining it'll be a great crowd and a great outdoor film, but I was never a huge fan of it to begin with, and I saw it earlier this summer anyway.

I would love to come, but my dad is here that night and wants to go out for pizza. He's staying in the loop though, so maybe I could convince him to change plans.
