So yes, Gaza is on my mind more than usual today.

1. Yes. Katie has not talked about it a lot, but she got back and then moved to NY, so she is busy. I talked to my dad about it a lot; he had a very good time and felt it was a very powerful experience. Listening to him talk about it, I alternated between feeling jealous at what he'd gotten to see (eg gethsemane) and really, really saddened at what he'd seen.

I was thinking about going to the Grant Park movie next Tuesday. They're showing Star Wars. Would you be interested in that, and make a rain date for Indian food?

The movie starts at dusk, but I'm sure it will be a crowd since its Star Wars and all. At this time I'm planning on going, and going straight from work to get a spot, and would be happy to hold space for anyone arriving later.
