Nov. 5th, 2002 02:39 amI was thinking about what I was going to post here alllll the way home from the big, bad city, but now that I've been through my email, friend's list and all the scintillating comments I've made, I'm all wiped out and can't remember jack.
Oh well, that's life, ain't it?
So
divalibby76 is about 20% settled in her new place and has the majority of her walls painted her desired colors. Hopefully in the next couple weeks she will have brought all her stuff down from Minneapolis and will be all settled! It's fairly large for a studio, although smaller than I believe she originally wanted. But damn if it doesn't make up in the LOCATION department! Everything in the world is basically accessible to her doorstep. And if she doesn't want to go out to get it, I'm sure it would be perfectly happy to come to her.
I've never known anyone who had a doorman before.
Ok. I gotta go so I will be awake enough later to remember to vote. Since there are no Green Party candidates in DuPage county, and no decent independents running, it looks like I'm gonna vote straight ticket. At least as straight ticket as you can get out here. I think I'm going to simply skip the offices that don't even have a democrat running for it. I'm also trying to figure out this whole write-in referendum thingy. Is it really legal to write something on the bottom of your ballot? Speaking of referendum, which I'm probably not spelling correctly, I'm definetely voting for the COD one, so maybe one of these days they can actually build some decent parking. Considering I'm pretty much becoming a professional student there, it would be nice to find a place to put my car on occasion.
No, really, I'm leaving.
*poof* I'm gone!!
p.s. Hi Karl! *big juicy smooch*
