I'm making a mental note not to drink on cold medicine again.

I took two Tylenol Sinus on the train, and then an hour later I was swigging back a Corona at Sal's.

Oops.

I don't feel so good. I'm glad I don't have to wake up and take Marta to work in the morning. I have a feeling this is going to be a NyQuil moment.

Let me just say that Sunday is a STELLAR cook. Ymmm...... I got to hang out with just him last night. We shopped for food, cooked dinner- well, I watched, he cooked- and watched The Matrix. I've never seen it in entirety before. Right now it is my top recommending-to-other-people movie. Even though I was probably one of about seven people on this earth who hadn't seen it as of last night. I'm absolutely bowled over by the profundity of that movie. I know a lot of people love it for its special effects and stuff, but the religious, philosophical and social overtones were simply astounding.

"Sounds like you just need to unplug, man...."

Wow.

Anyway. Beyond that....

I have an extra ticket to the Natya Indian Dance concert at College of DuPage on Saturday night, if anyone is interested. Unfortunatly, I'm not in the position to pay for both tickets, so you would have to pay me back for it. They go for $21 each. My dad was going to go, but now he can't, and its too late to return the second ticket. If you're into that at all, it will be pretty amazing. I went to see a friend in an Indian dance recital in high school, and its neato stuff. You can learn pretty much everything there is to know about the basics of the Hindu religion by watching it, and the dancers are formidable athletes. Let me know if any of you on my friend's list are interested. I will also open up the invitation to anyone I see tomorrow night.

Anybody interested in joining Sunday and myself for a Poetry Slam at the Heartland Cafe next Wednesday night? You are not required to have any poetry with you, or read it, in order to join in the fun.

One quick personal message to Ira in NY:

Thank you for your friendship and devotion over the years, even though we are a thousand miles apart. I cherish the fact that I know you, and even though we don't talk much, I am grateful you are there. Thank you for reading my journal with such dedication!! I wish you much happiness, and I'm glad you have found someone to share your life with. If you wait till I get back from Bosnia, or wherever, I will come play at your wedding for FREE!! Much love, and thank you for the emails.
