I just went shopping at Borders. Buy stock now!
I got two new books. Which is wonderful, especially considering I haven't finished the books I got last week.
I got Monster's Inc! WOOHOOOOO!!!
I got the Norah Jones CD. Anxious to listen. May do that as I fall asleep tonight.
New rule: Can't shop at Borders until I've read all the books and listened to all the CDs I bought at the previous trip. hehe hehe hehe *innocent look*
So if I were a character in Pleasantville, I would be turning from black and white into color right 'bout now.
I can't believe how different my life is right now from what it was even a couple months ago. My priorities and expectations are not at all what I figured on. Well, it would still be nice to find some nice guy to have as company. Except what would I do with him? Wait. Let me clarify. I know what I'd DO with him. But then in January I'd have to put him on the shelf, and that would bring nothing but pain and heartbreak. So I guess I'm better off this way. Right? RIGHT? Ahhhhhhhh well.....
So I went to a war protest downtown Chicago today outside of Peter Fitzgerald's office. While we were not as strong in numbers as I'd hoped, we got a LOT of support and positive feedback from people off the streets, and even pulled several of them in to hand out fliers and bang pots and pans for a while. Didn't get arrested. But ya can't win 'em all ;-) There's another one tomorrow outside of Dennis Hastert's office, but I can't go cuz I can't miss any more class. Another one on Oct. 5th. WOOHOO! I'm a political dissident!
I DON'T WANT SARAH TO GO AWAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
I'm tired. Blah. How did I get roped into taking weight lifting??? I need to go to bed!
