There's a song I've heard passing on the radio lately that had lyrics I really, really liked. So I haven't exactly been obsessed with it, but I've been curious to know who its by. The other day, someone told me it was by Vanessa Carleton, who I have vaguely heard of, but I don't know anything about. After an extensive online search this evening, I found out something moderately disturbing about this song.

The song For What Its Worth by Buffalo Springfield has been one of my favorite songs for years. It came to have even more significance as I started doing the whole anti-war, social justice stuff. The other day ojdorson was telling me about a Public Enemy song that samples the original song. So I just downloaded it and listened to it. Like ten times in a row.
