Hoping for a gold star!! *crosses fingers*
Aug. 6th, 2003 12:06 amOkay, so I've finally decided to respond to
sixfeetabove's Friends List Challenge! Except I changed it a little. I'm just mad about going for the spirit of something rather than the letter, so I'm not going to let anyone BRING ME DOWN! OH YEAH! Got a problem with that, lets take it out...
Oh. Sorry. Got carried away. Where was I?
Ahem.
Yes, yes, a letter to a part of my body. Well, since I can't really pick one part that needs particular admonishment or praise, I've decided to cover the whole damn lot in once. So here goes.
Dear Amy,
We here at the Complaint Department have been hearing an abundance of negative things lately. We've decided that we must address some of these issues sooner rather than later, as they seem to have gotten quite out of hand.
Due to this high volume of complaining about your life, we are prepared to offer up a few suggestions and possible short-to-medium term goals with which to work. The main grievances seem to include the following (in no particular order): Location; job; social life; and general life purpose. You will find attached some general outlines of how to go about changing some of these things.
( right about here, it starts to get long )
So there you have it. This has taken months of research, and additional months of compiling information, but we hope it will be of some help in the near future. While we will never tell you to stop complaining, we will continue to feel free to respond with a hearty "so what??" if you feel the need to complain without action. You will be hearing from us periodically until you accomplish the guidelines set out for you. Best of luck!
Love always,
Amy
