I'm house/cat sitting while marta and my mom are out of town. If you need to get ahold of me in the next four days, you can call there and leave a message.

I'm so spoiled by being at the house that coming here, while quiet and relaxing, seems quaint in comparison.

1)My mother's computer is really slow to begin with. On top of that, she uses AOL. On top of THAT, it is dial-up, where I'm used to DSL. And the little cherry on the top of this iced cake is NO SCROLLING MOUSE! I love me a good scrolling mouse.

2)The cable is out. ARRRRRRRGGGGGH!!!!!!!!! Its a good thing I have at least half my stash of movies here.

3)No brita water. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially a spoiled suburban brat (ooooooooh! Lightening!). I need my brita water. Here, we drink tap water. Which is remarkably clear of any nasty stuff, but that is courtesy of the massive amounts of chlorine the Wheaton utilities add to it. Yum.

Just thought I'd share.

There is chicken here. I must make it. Anyone have any good ideas/suggestions/cooking tips for making chicken? It is boneless breasts, I think. I am a terrible cook. I need to somehow make this edible. Thank you.
