It is official.


I have more pairs of socks than polyfrog has pairs of Chuck Taylors.

And this is only what has been washed and matched so far.

This does not include the thirty or so as-yet-unmatched socks (considering the dog's sock-chewing habit, I'm not optimistic that I am going to recover the mates to all of these).

This does not include plain white or plain black socks.

This does not include the socks I keep uncovering as I clean my bedroom (oh yes- what began as a simple Sock Recovery Mission has turned into a full scale Clean-Like-You're-Getting-Revenge Mission) that have yet to be washed and returned to their families.

That's a lotta socks....

I'm not really sure how this got so out of control...... I otherwise am a fairly un-materialistic person.

Hell no...... I have three pairs of shoes. I'm not a very stereotypical woman :-) I don't have lots of clothes or lots of shoes, or wear makeup or perfume (well, sometimes on really special occasions), or worry about my hair.....


I just buy lots of socks.
