This is not good. I am sleepy. I am so ready for a three hour nap. This does not bode well for partying tonight. I'm lovin' this dog we're fostering, but she basically has a three-and-a-half-hour bladder. She's entirely housebroken, but she still wakes us up every few hours to go out. That doesn't translate into much sleep.

I got my hair cut this morning. My dad gave me a gift certificate, and I redeemed it today. Its been at least eight months since I've had my hair cut, so it was quite ready. Unfortunately, since I had let it go for so long, there were A LOT of split ends, and I ended up having almost four inches taken off at the longest point (the last few times I had my hair cut, I'd had long layers put in, and as they grew out, they just kind of grew out uneven). Luckily, I have so much frickin' hair, it is still considered fairly long- still down past my shoulders. I actually didn't realize it was quite as long as it was. But it does feel a little odd.

What feels odder is that I actually purchased make-up at Walgreens. Real makeup. Well, as real as you can get at Walgreens. Eye liner and mascara. Lets see if I have the guts to put the eye liner on myself. I think I have matured enough that I will be able to.

I am dressing very, very up tonight. Just a warning.

Damn, legendofthehawk is going to be here soon, and I haven't even showered. And I need to wash a few things before I am totally ready to go. And plug in my hot rollers. And... and... and...

I have never been able to find the trick to putting on makeup - mostly because I've never wanted to badly enough. I pretty much have only a small stash of real makeup that my friends use on me on the rare occasions I need it.

Well, I should probably stop looking at LJ - Jerry and I still have to head to the store and get ready for tonight too :)
