I've been meaning to write this long, philosophical entry about the Matrix: Revolutions, The DaVinci Code and the book of Revelation, but I haven't really had the energy/motivation to do so.


This is officially a reminder note to myself to get around to doing it before I forget everything I meant to say.

Beth, if you had gotten to me four days ago I'd help you move, but I've already promised someone else I'd help them move tomorrow. Sorry.

I'm a little aprehensive about trying to sleep in my bed tonight. Its already seventeen years old, and has been falling apart for the last couple years. Last night/early this morning I heard something else go *POP* and haven't yet located the culprit. I hope my bed frame makes it through the night.

Yup. There's more to the Merovingian than just his name. Was Merovingian a former One? Persephone alludes to this, telling Neo that he used to be like you. This means that Persephone was his Trinity. She loved him, but he neglected her in the end (by choosing to reload the Matrix at the end of M2, rather than to save her life). This explains her pessimistic view that the love Neo and Trinity share is not meant to last.
