I think I'll flip a coin before I take a bath tonight. This is the longest I've ever gone without shaving- at least six weeks- and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Its just that I've discovered the absolute futility of shaving one's legs. Kinda like the absolute futility of making one's bed after one gets out of it.
Girl, if you don't wanna shave, then don't. When I was modeling my dresses on "What Not To Wear," the director said she wanted a close-up of my legs panning down to my shoes. I said, "Yeah, get in on those hairy legs!" She said, "Ok, forget the close-up." Then they spent the next few minutes gauging how close they could go in on my legs before the hair became apparent. I find it funny that people are so grossed out about hairy legs on women. Fuck double standards! Men have naturally hairy legs and so do women. Why does one of us have to be shamed into shaving them? I shave my legs, but only every other month or so; essentially, when I feel like it.
