In a good mood tonight. Don't know why, but not arguing it.

Have I mentioned how much I love teaching? I swear, they're all freaking geniuses.

Today I witnessed family giving everyone a demonstration of How Not To Parent 101. It was deal-with-able until the six-year-old decided to stand three inches behind my chair and screech at the top of his lungs. At that point I bailed like someone in a quickly-sinking rowboat.

There is a good chance the car will be legal tomorrow. Crossing my fingers. Did a headlight/taillight check today and everything seems in working order. As soon as I know I can't get pulled over for legitimate reasons, I'm putting my "blink-blink" (Sunday's words, not mine) medallion back on my rearview mirror. Thanks to legendofthehawk, the car has a decidedly ghetto look to it.

Speaking of which, as far as I know I will be able to see her this week. Yay! I'm all up for karaoke on Thursday if Sarah will be there, and if I can get there without risking getting pulled over by Lombard's finest.

Oh yeah. Lombard cops are fascists.

Do we know for sure Sarah will be there? Otherwise there's something in the city I REALLY want to go to.

i am up for it... but i need a ride. since mom and bob are out of town, i have no one to take me or pick me up. and i think brooke said something about needing a babysitter if she goes out. so, if someone can pick me up... i would love to go out!

If I can get plates for my car by tomorrow night Id on't mind driving. However, I don't know if I can yet. Also, if Sarah isn't going to be there, there is somethingin the city I REALLY want to go to, so I'll probably not be at Sal's. I'll let you know what's going on.
