Despite absolutely Siberian temperatures and a stupid, stupid parking ticket, it was quite fun tonight to turn out for the Grant Park Outdoor Film Festival's screening of Only Angels Have Wings. It was a much better film than I anticipated, and the company, while sparser than I thought it would be, was very nice. It kind of turned out to be an impromptu girl's night, as the only LJers who showed up were rollick, pheret1,pinkfluffyjumpr, minervacat, myself and one more LJer who I'm not sure is comfortable being "outed" on LJ (please correct me if this is is not true?). I was pleased to find out that I have some mutual acquaintances with minervacat, as she went to college across town from me (albeit several years behind me) in beautiful, scenic, Northfield, MN.


Oh yes- I apparently haven't figured out the whole concept behind "friends locked posts". :P Hey, I've only been on this thing for a year, give me time, give me time.......
