Aug. 5th, 2002 03:08 pmSo it rained last night. No, let me rephrase that. It RAINED last night. Not just dogs and cats. But cows, pigs, assorted reptiles and medium-sized rodents. It was wet. We also has sporadic power outages, which prevented me from posting. But anyway.... Hey, anybody want a cat? Sergei is still on the outs with my dad, and I keep getting temporary reprieves of a few days at a time, but I think that may run out very soon. VERY soon. He's a really neato cat. In fact, he's not really a cat. He's kind of some sort of bobcat-bulldog mix. My mobster boyfriend- he's so sweet and cute and cuddly, but at the same time he's purring on your lap and kneading his front paws on you, you know EXACTLY what he's capable of. Chipmunks, mourning doves, squirrls, etc.... Wait, that probably isn't the best sales pitch. At least its accurate.
So everyone who loves
pinkfluffyjumpr needs to go read her livejournal and email her. She is having a really rough time in Engerrrrland and doesn't seem to be getting any support out there. Tell her you love her.
I'm getting kind of frustrated that I haven't gotten my BVS application in the mail yet. I keep saying I'm going to do it, and the more I talk about it the more I am pumped about it. But I'm afraid if I can't at least start the application process soon, I will chicken out. I have no idea what the time frame is for getting accepted and starting orientation, but I'd like to be on my way by the beginning of the next year.
Anybody want to drive to Springfield with me on Sunday, August 18th? I have a gig down there with the pops orchestra - turns out we're playing at the state fair ! How....redneck. Redneck culture. Hehehehe... If you don't want to drive to Springfield, but you are just DYING to see me perform, I'm playing with the same group on Saturday the 17th in Shaumburg and Wednesday the 21st in Palatine. Don't worry, its not classical music. They do jazz, show tunes, movie music, etc. Its a pretty fun group. And its always FREE! The concerts, that is. I get paid.
Umm....that about sums it up. I'm off to attempt to be productive.
