Jul. 13th, 2003 01:38 amI'm not sure I can express enough thanks to the people I spent the weekend with so far-
divalibby76,
splaxgna,
love_alone
dust_wind_dude, Karl (From MN) and Sunday. Lately I've had kind of this overwhelming feeling of falling apart, but for some reason, over the last 36 hours I feel as if pieces of me were put back together. I'm not sure what to account for the original feeling of falling apart (it started before the whole car/job issues came up), and I sure can't put my finger on why I feel so much better now. But thank you ALL of you for whatever little pieces you picked up, dusted off and put back. I had a wonderful time. And isn't the moon just gorgeous???
There is something different about me. I will give a quarter to the first person who figures it out/realizes it. This offer, unfortunately, is null and void to those who have spent the weekend with me. If you already know and need a quarter that badly, I'll give it to you anyway. ;) Not to keep the rest of you in suspense (I do like a good cliffhanger), but as soon as it is guessed I'll reveal it to the masses. This is what George Costanza must have felt like when he ordered a different sandwich for the first time in his life.
What is it about Oles (people who went to St. Olaf College) these days? They're frickin' coming out of the woodwork. Of course I hang with Libby all the time. Then two weeks ago I went to a Pride party with her and ran into two more: Rae and Dan. That makes three. Last week Mark was visiting, and this week Karl is visiting. Four and five. Then I discovered Kevin right here on LiveJournal, although he doesn't seem to post a whole lot. Geez. Six. Whoa. I'm not quite sure what to make of it...
Now I must sleep. Really, I must.
