violachic1. Do you remember your first best friend? Who was it? Richard Ulm. He moved into a house behind us when I was four-going-on-five and was a year younger than me. He moved to Rhode Island three years later and it devastated me.
2. Are you still in touch with this person? No. We kind of kept in touch till I was in about High School, but it was hard after that. I could probably track him down if I wanted to and had the patience, though. I probably should.

divalibby76 is easily my best friend. We've been friends for thirteen years now.
4. How did you become friends with this person? We met at Interlochen Arts Camp (then it was called Interlochen National Music Camp) the summer we were both fourteen. We were in cabins next to each other and met in a theater appreciation class we both had signed up for as an elective. To this day, all I have to do is yell "FIDO!" and Libby loses it.
5. Is there a friend from your past that you wish you were still in contact with? Why? Several, actually. Gauri Ramnath was my best friend from fourth grade until 7th or 8th. She was a fascinating person and practiced Indian dance. Last I heard she was at DePaul studying dance and communication. But that was like, eight years ago. I'd also like to find Kristen Mosely, who was my "twin" in grade school cos we had the same birthday. And I should probably try to find Richard, someday.

Date: 2003-07-12 12:15 pm (UTC)Actually my first best friend was Beth Shartle, who I met when I was like, 2. We still run into each other from time to time and have a great time when we do. Our lives are just really different, and our respective friends are polar opposites.
I also should have listed Sunday and Kelly to my "closest friends" list. I don't like trying to single people out, tho, cos when I do SOMEONE gets offended. But those are the people I feel closest to at the moment.
