I shall watch and see if I can keep up with it. I don't think I'm the best choice for a moderator, given that I don't really identify as Christian, though I identify with the Christian far left more than anyone else...

I know you don't know me well but I'm a flaming liberal and a Roman Catholic. I do not view this to be in opposition, given Christ's teachings. I also find that prozytizing to be hubris and people's relationship with their higher power is between them. There are other things but ...

Thanks! I would like to think I'm a good moderator for the (low-traffic) communities I do moderate, but yeah, I don't know how busy this will get, and how much of a stake I'll have in it. It seems like you've got other folks stepping in, in any case. I look forward to seeing discussion develop.

hey I checked out your profile and it seems we have some things in common. It's always surprising to me when someone has mutual friends with me from different circles! kynn and kmd are people I've met through LJ communities and orpheus42 and igina are OLD old friends from a "Christian message board" we all participated in about a thousand years ago. How funny.

Anyway, I'm an INFJ, I'm sensing the possibility of a call toward living in (creating?) and intentional Christian community myself someday, and I love that peacemaker's prayer you have on your info. Fancy being LJ friends?
