Sep. 24th, 2008 08:03 amLast night on the bus, I encountered a "shover"- you know, one of those people who go through a crowded, standing-only bus like they're doing the breast stroke, usually because they feel the need to signal their impatience with others not getting out of the way fast enough. This particular Shover went by me, stepped on both of my feet, and then when I didn't get out of the way fast enough for his liking, pushed me back-first into a pole.
Needless to say, this hurt quite a bit. I continued on to class, because I was almost there, and I thought the hurt would subside after a bit; it didn't.
So after getting up this morning and trying to get moving, I am taking an extra Lyrica and going back to lie down. Hopefully extra nerve-deadening medication and a soft spot will help. I'm also hoping this is not an ER-worthy thing. I doubt it, but I always fear it.
Just thought you'd want to know.
