I was getting all excited about the weather getting warmer, that maybe Habibi and I could take a trip to the zoo to see the baby camels that were born recently.

Except in my searchings, I find that they are at the Brookfield Zoo- which requires a good hour's car ride to get to- and not the Lincolm Park Zoo- which requires about thirty minutes on a bus.


Sad.

Brookfield Zoo is on the Metra, it's less than 30 minutes from Union Station.

Yes, but that's still a challenge for me alone, much less with a toddler and stroller in tow. I'll just have to wait and make a field trip with folks who have cars.

I don't know anyone who has a car and would want to go see baby camels. No one at all.

I know not about a car, but I do know folks who want to go to brookfield and have no issue helping out company.
