violachicThis is the closest I think I have ever felt to being happy at someone else's demise. And I don't feel particularly guilty for feeling that way.
Henry Hyde- former congressman, Clinton impeacher, Hypocrite- dies at age 83
He was my representative- for various values of actually having "represented" me- for the eighteen years I lived in Wheaton. I found I could actually breathe a little easier once I moved in to Jan Schakowsky's district. From one of the most conservative congresspeople ever to one of the most liberal congresspeople ever- yay!
