So I've been reading the comic strip For Better or For Worse my whole life, and have always loved it. Now it looks like one of the characters might die, and all of a sudden I'm incredibly sad about it.

While grocery shopping last night, I had a craving for Mint Milano cookies. So I went to the Milano aisle. And what was next to the Mint Milanos? Amaretto Milanos! Oh dear god, they're amazing. They should be illegal. *drool*

I got my ass handed to me on a platinum platter in PT yesterday. I can barely move today. They decided to "test my limits". It was unpleasant.

My check still isn't here. I checked with the church office to make sure there wasn't any stray mail sitting around, and with my housemates to make sure it didn't get mixed up with their mail. Nada. Which means CPT needs to cut and mail me a new check. Which sucks. Today is Wednesday. I need to have the money in-hand to pay rent by Saturday. It will be a close shave. It is making me cranky.

I can't stand the fact that even as a high schooler, her speech must be transcribed to make her sound like a three-year-old -- "hafta" for "have to", "an" for "and". And Lynn Johnston's invented adolescent slang is just...painful.
