We have porccupines in Australia, I think... I'm not sure if they're the same thing or if they're just as cute... But I want a hedgehog! :D

Everytime I see 'lbs' I read it as lillabytes... I spent way too much time in front of the computer. We use the metric systems in Australia, so it's just my brain not being able to read 'lbs' as 'pounds'... :)

Date: 2006-09-12 05:55 am (UTC)Kangaroo tastes like... Umm... Meat. lol. I don't think I've ever had mutton and I've heard of people describing meat as gamey, but I don't know what it exactly refers to, so I'm no help at all. lol. It tastes more like beef steak than mutton (sheep?). It's a red meat and is really really nice with a red wine jus and garlic mash. ;) I guess how it tastes is all down to how it's cooked, but medium raw on a stove top it tastes like steak. Possibly a little stringier in texture, but definately more chewey.
Oh, there's nothing quite like eating your national emblem... :p Crocodile tastes like a cross between chichen and lamb :D
