oatmeal is one of the most healthy habits you can have, insofar as foodstuffs goes. whole grain, helps with cholesterol and weight in general. very good for ya.

unless you're like, loading it down with marshmallow fluff or gallons of syrup or something.

any particular flavor that you're enjoying? are you eating hot or cold? seems like warm oatmeal wouldn't be as suited to the weather this time of year.

warm oatmeal that is then chilled (or at least brought down to room temperature) has a puddinglike quality to it that can be enjoyable.

or, just crank up the A/C. ;)

you might turn into a quaker,... but other than that,... i dont know of any! by the way, the recipe on the back of the quaker oatmeal container for oatmeal raisin cookies, is almost as good as sex. they are absolutely divine.

I knew a guy who was seeing a girl who knows this kid who was friends this guy who had a brother that got hooked on oatmeal and when they tried to ween this guy off of it, he went into such bad withdrawal that he became a fan of Hall and Oates.

I'd be careful of that stuff. I don't wanna hafta be singing "Woah-oh here she comes" whenever I see ya.

Heh. I'm practically a Quaker anyway. I think raisins are icky, but I like oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

Besides- interesting piece of trivia: The Quaker oats weren't founded by Quakers, rather the guy who founded them, his last name was Quaker. I didn't know this till I started hanging out with a bunch of Quakers myself several years ago.
